Projects
Regional Projects
A wide range of technical support on weather, water, and climate services for the energy sector is being provided to WMO members and National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS) through WMO regional projects. The following list includes some projects with a component on energy services where specific services or products are being developed.
National Mini Projects
National Energy mini-projects are designed to develop and implement energy-related demonstration products and services that not only address the exact needs of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS) but are also scalable enough to be applied in other locations and by other members with similar needs. These demonstration products will be defined based on requests received from WMO members and selected by the WMO energy expert Study Group. The energy mini-projects are science-based, small-scale, with a low budget, and aim to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical application through collaboration with academia.
