Regional Survey Dashboard
The WMO Climate and Energy team, under the guidance of the WMO energy expert Study Group within the Commission for Weather, Climate, Hydrological, Marine, and Related Environmental Services and Applications (SERCOM), conducted a comprehensive energy survey in 2022. Over 100 WMO Members participated in the survey. The questionnaire was designed to analyze the status of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) in providing weather, water, and climate services for the entire energy sector (including carbon-based, nuclear, and renewable energy sources). In 2025, WMO conducted a supplementary differential analysis, adding data from 22 Members for selected survey questions (marked with an asterisk). The results for these questions have been updated accordingly. The regional-level results of the survey are visualized below, and some national-level results are accessible through country profiles under the “Engage and Network“.
