BUILD CAPACITY

Capacity development is the process of strengthening the abilities or capacities of individuals, organizations and societies to solve problems and meet their objectives on a sustainable basis

Planning and conducting capacity development activities on W&CSs application in the energy sector is essential to help strengthen skills, abilities, processes, and resources for National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs), research and industrial organisations, individuals and communities at national and regional levels.

There are a series of actions promoted by the WMO SG-ENE in the form of formal training, webinars, seminars and conferences. These activities are informed by the needs and requirements of nations around the world, as documented in the WMO SG-ENE Capacity Development Plan.
